From Dromana to Delray, Scarborough to Santa Monica, one of my favourite places is the beach. There is always something to photograph.
Enjoy the sunshine!

Around Town
Images from around town of things I see on outings or trips in and around Melbourne and Victoria. Whether the high rise buildings of the city or a local playground, I look for little corners of the world that are more interesting, that stand out from the mundane and everyday.

Plants, fruit, reflections, junk, decorations... anything from around the house and yard, even the car or some lovely flora amongst the weeds that makes a good composition.

Still Life & Objects
Stuff that doesn't move, blink or turn away when you point the camera at it.
A variety of bits and pieces photographed for arts sake.

Travel 1 :: Travel 2
Snapshots from my travels - in Australia and overseas. I enjoy discovering new places - photographing what I see is a way for me to capture those moments. Returning to those places then means I notice the changes or what is still the same and familiar.
(The beach gallery also contains some photographs from my trips.)

Digital Art
I have used various Photoshop tools and techniques and a combination of my own photography, scans or sketches to create interesting images reflecting a theme, atmosphere or a particular brief for a specific job or just for fun!

Abstract
Abstract images. Experiments with light and colour and some digital manipulation to make some interesting and eye-catching compositions.

Leafy
But not always green! Greens, reds, rusts, yellow, new growth or falling - year round, the colours changes but the leaves make for an attractive image at any stage.

Black & White
Sometimes, bright colours don't necessarily enhance an image - rather black and white (and shades of grey in between) can be just as striking, or even moreso. An added sense of mystery, narrative, can be found in these black and white images. Use your imagination! (Some images originally non-digital - traditional film and developing processes used, all adjustments done in the darkroom.)
